Expo Chicago 2026

For our inaugural presentation at Expo Chicago, Qualia Contemporary Art presents a survey of seven contemporary Chinese artists working with ink and calligraphy. The booth will include work by Xu Bing, Wang Dongling, Tai Xiangzhou, Wang Tiande, Zhang Yu, Chu Chu, and Victoria Yau. Works on view range from abstraction and landscapes to handwritten notes and mixed media. Collectively, these artists masterfully blend traditional Chinese art forms with contemporary approaches utilizing brush, ink, and paper to reimagine the visual artistry and historic vernacular of landscape and text.
